1. a) Voluntary service will follow the daily activities schedules, as described below, of the “Agios Vlasios” Chronically Diseases Infirmary with the personal assist and care of the elderly.
2. b) Voluntary service with weekly creative activities for the elderly, through individual and group activities.
3. c) Voluntary service on possible cooperation on planning, organizing and implementing activities and/or intergenerational activities with similar institutions from abroad in the frame of various European and World programmes. Creation, moderation and update of a webpage, design of a leaflet(flyer). Organize information and dissemination events for publicity of the EVS and organize other public events.

Finally, volunteers will learn how to apply practical techniques for all mentioned works and will acquire knowledge and skills in social work and care taking.

The role of volunteers is important because they will add value and joy to the activities due to the new perspectives and opinions offered to our specialized personnel and apply to their daily tasks. At the same time they learn new things by directly acquiring skills that will be recorded in the Youthpass at the end of their service. Moreover they will increase their knowledge, understanding and potential partners within the region the volunteer comes from, promoting dialogue among diverse European institutions.
